“Our family looks forward to every Canyon River Ranch visit. A few years ago, we started to reserve the lodge space to host a family Christmas party. My Mom is the oldest of five and it gives us great joy to invite the entire family without anyone needing to host our large family get together! I think my aunts are very grateful that their hosting days are over! Last year, one of my cousins shared that it was the first time it felt like Christmas since our Grandpa Logan died. During this party, I love to take a few minutes to step back and watch my family laughing and talking together, all while my cousin’s kids tear around eating popcorn and playing. Continuing to gather together just like we used to at my Grandma and Grandpa’s house for so many years gives me immense joy. This is just one of the many reasons CRR is so special to our family.”

“I was concerned when we bought our lot and built a house here if we would use it. I should not have. We are here nearly every week of the year. We come for the fishing, we come for the views that are in constant change, we come for the incredible food offered by Chef Kevin at the grille. We come to get away from the grey skies, we come to float the river, watch wildlife (deer, bighorn sheep, coyotes, turkey, chukkar, eagles, American pelicans, buzzards, geese, wood ducks, mallards, mergansers, etc) and enjoy the peace that we find in the Canyon. Our friends and family ask us when they can join us in the Canyon. We have also found an amazing community of people here with whom we love sharing time together.”
